The Pulitzer hotel in Amsterdam has an airport transfer service that they can offer the guests of our event.  In order to be able to guarantee this service and process reservations on time, they urge delegates to make reservations quickly – preferably this week – should they be interested.

Please book direct with the hotel – the details are as follows:-

Limousine company The Dutch Connection, the preferred supplier of the Pulitzer, offers guests the opportunity to be picked up at the airport (arrivals/gate) and travel comfortably to the hotel in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or similar for up to 3 people.

The costs are €115 airport one way or €210 round trip.  In comparison; the costs for a standard taxi are approximately €50.

Airport Information

The airport shuttle takes approximately 35 minutes and costs 17 euros per person. Tickets can be purchased in the arrivals hall at the ‘Connexxion Airport Shuttle’ desk.

Alternate transportation:

Public Transport

Trains run every 15 minutes between the airport and Central Station. Tickets cost approximately 4 euros and the trip takes roughly 20 minutes. A tram takes 10 minutes from Central Station. Lines 13 and 17 stop at “Westermarkt”, the hotel is located along the canal, a stone’s throw away from this stop.


Pulitzer’s doormen are available 24 hours a day to park your car. The charges for our Valet Parking service are 62,50 euros per day. Please note that our parking has limited spaces available and the maximum height of your vehicle should not exceed 1.90 meters. On-street parking is also available. Alternatively, the closest parking garage is the ‘Euro Parking’, located on the Marnixstraat.


In Amsterdam (and in the rest of Netherlands) the Euro currency is used. There are 8 coins; 1, 2 and 5 cent, 10, 20 and 50 cent, 1 and 2 Euro coins. Then there are the bills of 5, 10, 20 and 50 Euro, 100, 200 and 500 Euro notes. Not many places will accept the 500 Euro note however.
